Your role at St John of God Richmond We are seeking applications from experienced Patient Service Assistants to join our Richmond team on a casual basis. Working as a Patient Services Assistant you will participate as a member of our multi-disciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, assist in the delivery of a catering services and assist in the provision of support service to the Catering staff. The Position Maintain high standard of all Catering services to clients, guests and caregivers. Attend and participate in meetings as directed. Use and maintain cleaning equipment in accordance with manufactures instructions and safe operating procedures. Assists in the provision of other additional services provided by housekeeping under the direction of the Duty Manager. Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures in their workplace; Take reasonable care of themselves and others; Not to interfere, bypass or misuse any system or equipment provided for health, safety and welfare purposes; Take all actions to avoid, eliminate or minimize hazards; To be successful will have demonstrated experience working with industrial cleaning equipment, excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and able to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organisational skills. Experience working in an acute Hospital setting and qualifications in Health Services or equivalent will be highly regarded.
