About the Role As a Sales Development Representative, you will focus on business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our customer base and ensuring outstanding service delivery. Coverage Area: South East Melbourne, including the Mornington area. Work Environment: Primarily on the road, engaging with clients and developing new business opportunities. Showroom Base: A showroom in Mornington is available for client meetings and product demonstrations, but this role is not showroom-based. Travel Expectations: Frequent travel within the region for client meetings and industry events. This is a part time role: approx. 20 hours a week spread over 4 days Key Responsibilities New Business Development – Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking and lead generation. Sales & Client Engagement – Build strong relationships, understand client needs, and present Multiform’s value proposition. Account Management & Growth – Maintain key accounts, drive repeat business, and identify upselling opportunities. Market Awareness & Strategy – Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights to refine business strategies. Reporting & Administration – Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data. Ideal Candidate We’re looking for a proactive, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for business development and client engagement. You should be results-driven, strategic, and enjoy building strong relationships. Key Attributes: Self-Starter – Able to work independently and take initiative. Excellent Communicator – Strong verbal and written communication skills. Relationship Builder – Proven ability to nurture long-term client relationships. Sales Driven – Goal-oriented, focused on achieving and exceeding targets. Industry Knowledge – Experience in construction, interior design, or building materials is highly regarded. Resilient & Adaptable – Able to handle objections and adjust strategies as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role. Experience in construction, building materials, or interior design is highly regarded. Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and account management. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently within South East Melbourne and the Mornington area.
