The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to join our team. The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Engineering department in all aspects related to Planning, Procurement, Warehousing and Work Order management. Key Responsibilities Assist in daily, weekly and long-term planning activities including scheduling, planning and attending meetings to coordinate with operations and engineering teams Liaise with current, new and potential suppliers to formulate positive benefit purchasing arrangements Oversee remote support teams, provide regular updates on progress or work Create purchase orders through MRP systems or Ariba to meet demand and forecast requirements Provide support for day-to-day warehouse operations when required Assist with stock takes and as required assist with receiving goods and reconciling into SAP Establish a basic understanding of port equipment on site Constantly work to improve processes and make suggestions for productivity improvements What we are looking for You are proactive in your approach to coordination and have ambitions to continue your career within Terminal logistics. Technical or mechanical background would be highly advantageous Experience in a procurement role, or related position Ability to collate data and produce reports Attention to detail in order to keep records up to date Sound written & verbal communication skills Experience with ERP/MRP SAP Inventory Management software is highly desirable Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel What's in it for you?
