Operating on the front line, you will support our local community and local retail stores with the pickup & delivery of donated goods. You will have high energy, be a hands-on individual and provide excellent customer service. We offer a great work-life balance with a set roster of Monday through to Friday from 7am to 3pm. All driving will be done locally, and no long-haul or overnight work is required. Some of your daily responsibilities will include the following: Loading/unloading donated goods, including furniture items Distribution of goods to local stores Warehouse duties as required Disposal of rubbish/donations as required If you are a qualified MR Truck Driver looking for a permanent full-time position in the Cairns area and to broaden your skills while being part of a team contributing to a bigger picture, we’d love to hear from you. Salary range: $61,987.12 - $65,287.12 (SVDP3) per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit Salary Packaging up to $15,900 meal/entertainment up to $2,650 Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring A current MR Licence and Forklift Licence Previous experience as a truck or delivery driver Experience in furniture removal and delivery and/or warehousing and logistics Excellent driving history record and ability to follow all road safety regulations A positive attitude and a desire to learn and do your best for your team and those we support A commitment to who we are, what we do and why we do it (our values) Ready to apply?
