If you're passionate about intellectual property, thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment, and want to be part of a growing team, we want to hear from you About the Role As an Experienced Trade Marks Assistant , your core responsibilities will include: Preparing Trade Mark Applications : Managing the preparation, submission, and follow-up of trade mark applications, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines. Case Management : Entering filing details, acceptance, and grant information into case management systems. Keeping track of important dates such as deadlines, filings, responses, and examinations. Deadline Management : Reviewing and liaising with attorneys to ensure deadlines are met, reminders are addressed, and instructions are clear. Database Management : Keeping our case management system up-to-date, ensuring information is entered accurately and efficiently. Client and Associate Communication : Preparing invoices, managing correspondence with clients, foreign associates, and IP offices, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times. Supporting Templates & Precedents : Assisting with the development and maintenance of templates and precedents to streamline workflows. Collaborating with a Strong Team : Contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture with your flexibility, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic. About You You’re a passionate and experienced Trade Marks Assistant with the following qualifications: Relevant Experience : You have at least several years of experience working in trade marks, ideally within a top-tier or specialist IP law firm. Proficient with IP Management Software : You have experience with trade mark management software (preferably Inprotech), with a strong understanding of filing, deadlines, and case management. Excellent Communication Skills : You possess superior oral and written communication skills, and can easily interact with clients, attorneys, and associates in a professional and clear manner. Organised & Detail-Oriented : You are meticulous, managing multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising on accuracy or quality. Self-Motivated & Team-Oriented : You can work independently, but you also thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
