We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team based at Pinkenba. This is a permanent, full-time role within the National Customer Service Team for our bulk products. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your days will be busy as you help customers to place orders, raise queries and look for information on their account activity. Some detective work will come into play for more challenging issues and you will have to utilise your knowledge and relationships with key stakeholders to get the best result. You will spend much of your day on the phone, as well as dealing with queries via email. About the role: Your primary focus will include all order processing and related customer service activities via phone and email. In addition, as a Customer Service Officer, you will effectively liaise with other key areas of Cement Australia to: Ensure a seamless high standard of service to our customers Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, plus approximately one Saturday per month from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, at an overtime rate. About you: Previously worked in a phone and email-based customer service role Thrive in a high-volume order processing environment and can maintain resilience Have excellent communication and negotiation skills The ability to learn and pick up new things quickly and easily Able to maintain and develop customer relationships Have a strong eye for detail, even when processing orders on a busy day Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP Ideally, you will have experience within the transport / logistics industry Why work for Cement Australia?
