About the Role: As a Senior Designer at Modibodi, you will lead the creative direction for our seasonal and new product development (NPD) collections across functional apparel, lingerie, and swimwear. Your focus will be on driving the brand's aesthetic vision, ensuring our collections are both visually striking and aligned with Modibodi's identity. A deep understanding of the fitting process is essential. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop quarterly collections, explore new design concepts, and bring fresh ideas to life. While your primary focus will be on aesthetic development, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow your skills in functional design, with career pathways available in this area . If you have a passion for design and have a functional apparel, lingerie, and swimwear background , we’d love to hear from you As we continue to expand our business, now growing in the UK, we’re seeking someone with experience working across both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres who is eager to contribute to the next phase of our growth. What You Will Do: Drive innovation and develop a product pipeline aligned with sustainability and protection. Build strategic partnerships to maximize opportunities and cost savings. Stay informed on global market trends and leverage customer insights for a 2-3 year innovation plan. Oversee product lifecycle, from concept and sampling to production and launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, planning, and marketing strategies. Work with R&D partners to develop and test new innovations. Manage manufacturers to meet technical specifications and sampling requirements. Lead seasonal design, color range, and print development using designer software. Ensure all product development details are entered into PLM (ERP system). Who You Are: A talented and experienced designer with a strong aesthetic sense, particularly in underwear, intimates, and swimwear. You bring advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and end-to-end experience in designing tech bags. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus. Passionate about the brand, you consistently bring fresh ideas to the table and confidently showcase your work through engaging presentations and influence. A creative problem-solver with strong leadership, technical expertise, and supplier networks. Skilled in innovation, sourcing, and commercializing new ideas. Experienced in product development, textile/apparel design, and fast-paced environments. Well-versed in extensive travel for production markets.
