Due to continued to growth, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker and Packer/forklift operators to join their dynamic team. Forklift operations Assist in receiving, storing, and organising inventory. Verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies. Maintain inventory management systems through regular stock checks. Ensure products are securely packed and labelled for shipping. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and team members to coordinate daily tasks. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following sanitation and safety standards. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Adhere to operational procedures to ensure safety and efficiency. Requirements: Forklift License: A valid forklift license is mandatory; experience operating various types of forklifts is preferred. Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not essential. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely; must be comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure correct order fulfilment, including checking item codes and quantities against order sheets. Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues related to inventory discrepancies or packing errors and take initiative to resolve them. Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for using inventory management systems. Team Collaboration: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors. Safety Knowledge: Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
