This is a full-time ongoing position, commencing Term 2, Wednesday 23 April 2025. Reporting to the Director of Music and the Head of Faculty (Music Curriculum) the successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality instruction across years 7-12. Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content, be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement. Qualifications and Requirements Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Tertiary Music Qualifications with relevant music classroom experience. A passionate and engaging educator with a growth mindset. Knowledge of Kodály methodology. Must have competent piano accompaniment skills. Confident in using music technology. Able to collaborate effectively within a team across multidisciplinary areas. Experience with ensembles an advantage. Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our community to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular and pastoral care.
