In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process, ensuring each project meets our high standards. This position will initially be based in our South Perth head office, where you will work across several ECI agreements, with plans to transition to on-site operations. You will report directly to the Senior Design Manager. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the design process , ensuring adherence to project requirements, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and finalize design plans, specifications, and construction documents. Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with building codes and regulations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify design-related issues, and provide necessary guidance and solutions. Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design changes, modifications, and value engineering opportunities. Assist in the selection and procurement of materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with project specifications, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. Participate in design coordination meetings and provide updates on design-related matters to project stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation and records of design decisions, approvals, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and construction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. 2-3 years of post-graduate experience working on construction projects, preferably in the high-end residential or commercial sector. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design coordination. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines. Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
