About the role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing effective, flexible, and high-quality care to the residents at our vertical Supported Independent Living units located at Point Frederick NSW. You will be working in a residential setting for individuals that may have complex needs in accordance with their personal support plans. We are recruiting casuals who are experience, reliable and can work a 24/7 shift Monday to Sunday. There will be opportunities for permanent part time work for successful candidates. The role is being paid at the SCHADS Level 2.1 $33.41 plus casual loading $41.76 per hour plus super. Duties: Help at home: Housekeeping, shopping and meal preparation. Personal care: Assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, mealtime, and medication administration. Transport: Driving clients to day programs, appointments, shopping or leisure trips. Social and wellbeing: Accompanying clients on outings and social support activities. Documentation: completing any reporting required to assist with our clients wellbeing. Requirements: Current First Aid and CPR Certification. NSW unrestricted Driver’s Licence and access to a register and comprehensively insured motor vehicle. Employer working with Children Check. NDIS workers check and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is required.
