National Sales & Account Manager – Food/FMCG $150K Base Car Allowance Bonus | Leading Value-Added Food Products The Recruitment People are partnering with a national company in their search for a commercially astute, dynamic National Sales & Account Manager . This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth business that specialises in value-added food ingredients, particularly in the almond category. The Role This position is a true mix of business development (50%) and account management (50%) , responsible for growing key relationships with existing clients while expanding new business opportunities across Australia. With a strong focus on domestic sales, you will work closely with food manufacturers, corporate clients, and wholesalers, taking a consultative approach to understand their specific product needs and working with production teams to develop tailored solutions. You will take ownership of the sales pipeline, drive product innovation in collaboration with production teams, and develop strategic solutions that go beyond price-based selling. What We’re Looking For A commercially savvy sales professional with experience in cost efficiencies, P&L, and strategic product positioning A confident communicator who can hold their own in conversations with key stakeholders and adapt their approach as needed A proactive go-getter who enjoys being out in the market, meeting customers, and building strong, long-term partnerships Experience in the food/FMCG industry is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow accounts, managing and expanding key customer relationships, including well-known food manufacturers Drive business development by identifying and securing new corporate partnerships to maximise product value Collaborate with production teams to optimise products, pricing, and new market opportunities Engage with clients regularly, both face to face and online meetings, managing your own appointments and diary. National travel as required, however the majority of clients are across Melbourne and Sydney. Why This Role?
