Job Description Leidos Australia supports the Military Survey activity of the SEA1770 Rapid Environmental Assessment project for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). We provide the RAN with underwater hydrographic data to help ships maneuver and deploy safely in unknown maritime environments. Recently, we expanded our technology offering and are supporting more programs in 2025. We require additional Systems Engineers hired for their chosen Engineering expertise (Computer Systems or Electrical) to support growth. Our Systems Engineers maintain and evolve the product baseline and structures for multiple delivered sub-systems. They also assist in the smooth transition of new capabilities into service. Reporting to the Technical Lead, the Systems Engineer will Conduct investigations into reported defects/problems in the system Prepare Applications for Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals to improve approved system baselines. Manage/Develop technical documentation defining systems configuration and design process Provide technical advice to end users of the system Provide inputs into potential enhancements to the delivered system
