Job Description We are seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Educators to join our team in Algester, working with children in our after-school care programs. This casual position offers flexible hours across various services. You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday to Friday , 6:00am - 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3 : 00pm- 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours in the school holidays too About the Role As part of a collaborative team of Educators, you will assist with the daily operation of the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading engaging, child-centered programs filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts – whatever sparks the children's curiosity Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community. Collaborating with a skilled team of Educators on-site. Who We’re Looking For While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for: A genuine love for working with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities. Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover) and a state working-with-children check. Must have valid Australian work rights. What’s in it for you?
