Job Description As a Conference & Events Sales Specialist , you’ll be at the heart of driving new business, retaining valued clients, and developing strategies to crush sales targets You’ll manage leads, handle event proposals, and coordinate with our incredible event teams to deliver WOW-worthy experiences. From initial inquiry to event completion, you’ll be there every step of the way to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Charge – Respond proactively to event leads and handle inquiries across all channels (phone, email, website). Maximise Revenue – Create detailed proposals that maximize revenue, including venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs. Competitive Intelligence – Keep a pulse on competitors and provide strategic recommendations to stay ahead. Relationship Building – Develop strong relationships with conference and incentive companies (PCOs) to bring in new business. Drive Results – Hit sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular updates on success. Sales Strategy – Assist in sales forecasting, target setting, and developing creative strategies to secure new and repeat business. Event Success – Ensure smooth handover to Conference & Event Coordinator and maintain communication with clients for flawless execution. Ongoing Development – Maintain an in-depth understanding of our services, rates, and sales strategies to best serve our clients.
