A close-knit team of 6 building services professionals who each rely on each other for getting quality work done, together. Variety of projects from education to commercial, industrial and hospitality (no surprises there), both in the private and public sector. The role You’ll be looking after design of hydraulic services, project leadership, clients, other stakeholders (both polished and gnarly) and project financials. You’ll be able to jump in and run a project as your own - end to end. Low drama office environment with a bit of traditional banter. Leave work at the door. You’d like to know more? Projects come from private developers and builders as well as state and local government. The group is led by an experienced Director. After successfully operating the businesses with sole responsibility for 20 years, he’s recently appointed a second Director to support. No politics here - just enjoy the day to day. Day to day You've done this before so you know how the average day looks. you’ll be engaging with clients, supervising hydraulic design (doing reviews), liaising with authorities, project managing. You’ll work on a broad spectrum of projects, possibly 5 or 10 at any one time, both small and large. You may or may not design yourself these days. There's a capable hydraulics engineer to provide you support with documentation. What the role needs: 8-15 years' experience in hydraulics engineering in Vic (building services) (Civil or Mechanical or similar) Engineering degree qualification or other tertiary qualification. NER a bonus but we can support you to obtain this. Ability to work independently. Someone who enjoys the simple things in life. Let's not over-complicate. What’s in it for you?
