About the role A fantastic opportunity is now available for someone who enjoys delivering quality customer experiences within our Revenue Collection Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join a collaborative team, who has experience in collections and thrives on delivering results. The successful person will have a customer centric approach and enjoy engaging with customers for great outcomes. You will be responsible for providing quality customer service through the delivery of accurate and systematic collection actions. You will also be responsible for providing customer, meter, billing, debt recovery, payment, and property information. Your day-to-day duties would include exceptional telephone customer service, debt negotiations, data entry and analysis, account maintenance, general billing and metering enquires. Key Responsibilities: Customer engagement via multiple channels including phone, email Customer data entry/modification/updating Skip tracing and location of customers contact information Updating customer information to hold accurate data set Negotiating debt, payment extensions and offering customer centric solutions. Identification of customers who may need financial assistance Experience in collecting revenue for large customer segments. Skills and Qualifications: Experience in a customer service environment Previous experience in systems such as SAP CRM, SAP ISU, SAP Fiori, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Windows Suite. Applied experience in debt collection and recovery of outstanding monies, including inbound and outbound calling. Demonstrated ability to interact compassionately and effectively with people in a wide range of circumstances. Solutions focused approach for customer resolutions. Ability to prioritise workload with an attention to detail. Willingness to participate in skills and knowledge development required for the role and to participate in a rotating roster.
