What you will do. Provide engineering advice and support for surface water assets. Optimise performance and identify inefficiencies in conveyance, pump stations, and treatment plants. Report and advise on energy efficiency across our metro assets. Identify chemical dosing issues and provide recommendations. Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams, and Plant Managers to drive improvements. Build strong relationships with stakeholders in your first few months. By 1-2 years, work semi-independently, proactively identifying and solving issues. Who we are looking for. We are after someone with the classic engineering mindset – logical, analytical, and a natural problem-solver. You will also need the following qualifications and experience: Engineering degree Experience in engineering planning, definition, design, or operation of infrastructure assets. Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices relating to water collection, treatment, and transfer. Experience in delivering optimal engineering, business, and financial outcomes. You will thrive in this role if you are: Detail-oriented but can see the bigger picture. Drive by efficiency and continuous improvement. A strong communicator who can work with multiple teams.
