About the role The Administration Coordinator plays a key role in the delivery of exceptional service to Mater patients, relatives and staff. This role will be permanent full time 38 hours per week based at South Brisbane. The core function of the Administration Coordinator role is to provide specialised knowledge in administrative tasks and provide guidance to administration staff whilst managing the day-to-day operational requirements of the ward / unit. There is a specific focus on financial efficiency by managing resources effectively and optimising operational processes for efficiency in addition to optimal utilisation of resources, both human and material to achieve best and sustainable results. Salary range: $53.24 - $57.92 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing Overseeing of the delivery of services within the ward or unit ensuring high standards are maintained Managing staff schedules (rostering) and participation in recruitment processes to ensure the ward / unit is adequately staffed Evaluate employee performance, identify areas of improvement, and promote professional development among the team members Foster a positive work environment by engaging with employees and addressing their concerns, thus ensuring high levels of engagement Assess skill sets of the team members and ensure an appropriate mix of skills to handle various tasks efficiently Set and maintain high standards for the quality of administrative work, striving for exceptional performance from the administration team This role works closely with the Administration Manager to align administrative strategies with the overall organisation, ward / unit goals. There will be high levels of collaboration in managing resources effectively and monitoring of key performance indicators to meet the business needs and support growth. About you Tertiary qualifications in business related or human behaviour discipline or equivalent work experience – highly regarded MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualifications would be highly regarded Knowledge of healthcare is desirable but not essential Why join us?
