Attractive Hourly Rate 6 Month Opportunity Hunter Valley Location About the Company This organisation is a large contributor to the world's energy needs. They are responsible for mining up to 42 million tonnes of coal a year, operating in a sustainable manner. Their local operations focus on extracting both thermal and metallurgical coal with a base in the Hunter Valley. About the Role As a Contracts Administrator you will support the Procurement team. This role is crucial for developing and implementing procurement plans and processes, managing contract risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Key accountabilities of the role include: Forging collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the businesses to deliver key contracts and projects Drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts and tendering documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and legal requirements Leading contract negotiations, ensuring value for the business and risk mitigation while maintaining compliance with statutory and policy requirements Taking part in evaluation meetings for tender negotiations to provide final award recommendations About You To be successful in this role you will need: At least 2 years in a similar role, with exposure to end-to-end procurement and contracts functions The ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes and provide procurement and contract support including tenders and contract execution Outstanding communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and strong time management skills Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office For a confidential discussion about this role, please call Laila Hoy on 0413 778 084 or email on lhasr.com.au.
