Based from our Wingfield Branch, we currently have an opportunity for a Customer Facing MR Driver to join our team and assist in the servicing and expansion of our business. With a wide and varied client base our routes vary daily. Our role is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who can work unsupervised and who is interested in a diverse range of duties with a mix of physical, driving, and customer service duties as part of this role. What will you do? • Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading. • Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices. • Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles. • Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely. • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight. • Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage. • Verifying loading documents, checking conditions of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries. What we are looking for? • 1 years driving experience. • Courier type, multi pick up/drop experience strongly regarded. • Valid (Minimum) Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License, however Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License preferred. • Good Driver History Record. • Strong Customer Focus. • Safe manual handling skills. • Hard-working, punctual, and reliable. • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction. • Be aligned with our values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable and Service.
