ConsultANZ is looking for a Project Engineer to join a well-established main contractor based in Cambridge. The company generates an annual turnover of $25–30 million, specializing in drainage, earthworks, and subdivision works. Currently, it is handling projects valued between $500,000 and $10 million, including subdivisions, pipelines, water mains, and sewer mains. Main Duties Your responsibilities include: Delivery of the project in correspondence with the plan, the budget, and the specific project goals. Management and supervision of the assigned staffs. Keep track of costs, check valuations prepared by subcontractors and manage accordingly. Make that all QA and OHS criteria for the project are recorded and followed. Uphold a strong sense of community within the team and the business at large. Ensure that all work is executed successfully and in compliance with the relevant standards. Communicate with other engineers, foremen, and supervisors to ensure a full understanding of the information provided. Check works are completed as required by the specification. Requirements A successful candidate will bring into the role: Degree-holder with relevant background ideally with civils - drainage, earthworks, subdivision, sewer/water mains, pipelines. An in-depth appreciation of engineering techniques, construction processes, and their suitability. A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
