Health & Safety Manager - Construction Location: Truganina, VIC 3029 Hours: 7 AM - 1 PM (Part-Time) Duration: 4-Month Project Rate: $75 per hour We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety (WHS) Manager with a strong background in construction to oversee safety compliance for a warehouse assembly project in Truganina, VIC . This role is part-time (7 AM - 1 PM) for a 4-month project , offering $75 per hour . About the Role: As the Health & Safety Manager , you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining WHS procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with WorkSafe regulations, and leading site safety initiatives. Your expertise in construction processes and WHS legislation will be crucial in maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site walks to identify and resolve safety issues. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, and company policies . Develop and maintain risk assessments, SWMS documents, and safety plans . Train and induct workers on safety procedures and site-specific risks. Ensure all personnel are using the correct PPE . Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain documentation (Health & Safety Plan, Guidelines, Safety Handbook, etc.). Oversee injury and compliance investigations . Review RAMS, H&S procedures , and update them as needed. Monitor assembly execution to ensure maximum safety compliance. Proficiency in creating reports, using office programs, and maintaining test & tag registers . Excellent communication and leadership skills to advise and train teams. Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures . High-level documentation skills for reporting and investigation.
