The Production and Design Team operates within the Corporate Communication and Media Relations Branch to deliver high-quality video production and graphic design services for the Department of Social Services. As an experienced Graphic Designer, working under the direction of the Design Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team of creative professionals whose mission is to create engaging and accessible content that aligns with the department's visual brand and corporate narrative. The key duties of the position include provide best practice design and brand advice to internal clients, including specialist advice on visual products, offering insights and creative solutions to enhance the impact of graphic design projects lead multiple design projects and delivering departmental communications products to a high standard respond to graphic design briefs to support the Department's objectives and key work programs provide design support for corporate initiatives including template development, publications, presentations, events, large format projects, and digital marketing collateral. manage end-to-end production of design briefs, including liaising with clients and suppliers deliver high-quality graphic design and digital assets that are accessible and engaging and meet departmental and government standards support the mentorship of Design Team members with guidance and feedback.
