The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent day-shift role (6am-2pm), offering stability, technical challenges, and the chance to contribute to an innovative team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and automation equipment to ensure operational efficiency; Perform planned maintenance and manage the stock of electrical components; Lead installations, testing, and commissioning of machinery and electrical systems; Ensure safety compliance, including the proper execution of lockouts; Diagnose faults, repair or replace defective components, and collaborate with con-tractors for resolutions; Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and specifications; Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate upgrades and improvements; Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safety and reliability; and Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant. About You Experience: At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in manufacturing FMCG environments; and Strong expertise in factory automation, PLC programming, and robotics. Skills & Qualifications: Licensed Electrical Tradesperson (A-Grade); Certifications in Advanced PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens), Omron Vision Systems, and Robotics Programming (ABB Robotics); Knowledge of safety compliance and risk assessments (AS4024 Machinery Risk Assessment advantageous); and Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
