We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a well-established and reputable electrical construction team based in Townsville, QLD. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services across various commercial, industrial, and government projects. As an Electrician, you will leverage your expertise to interpret specifications, drawings, and manuals while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and manuals to ensure accurate execution of electrical installations and maintenance tasks. Solve complex problems on-site, providing detailed job-specific reports in line with requirements. Commit to strict compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and OH&S standards at all times. Plan and execute jobs efficiently, ensuring all resources, equipment, and materials are available before work begins. Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery. Lead and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality control are maintained at all times. About You: Unrestricted Electrical Licence (mandatory). Current Manual Driver’s Licence . At least 2 years of experience in the commercial construction sector (essential). A strong commitment to upholding safety standards, code compliance, and WHS requirements. Reliable, conscientious, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams effectively. Experience in leading, managing, and up-skilling apprentices is highly regarded. Additional communication tickets will be considered an advantage.
