You'll enjoy: Hybrid working arrangements that respect your work-life balance A competitive salary package with superannuation Generous 25% staff discount on all Freedom products, including sale items True flexibility with our innovative 'Freedom to Flex' program - work from anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks annually Monthly themed pop-up Town Hall's to connect with wider teams in our Support Centre What You'll Be Working On You'll take ownership of our Azure Operational Data Warehouse, where your responsibilities will include: Streamlining and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SSIS Developing new data pipelines models and maintaining existing ones in our modern lakehouse architecture Replatforming over to OneLake and Fabric Creating impactful dashboards and analyses using Power BI Working directly with business teams to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions Maintaining high uptime and performance of our operational data and analytics assets What Type of Person Will Succeed You're an experienced data engineer with: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, particularly in Azure environments Deep technical expertise in Azure's data stack (Data Factory, SQL, Data Lake, Analysis Services, Synapse, and Databricks) Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and working with Notebooks Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and paginated reports The ability to take ownership and drive technical initiatives Extensive understanding of database technologies including data warehousing, strong SQL skills, metadata management and data integration.
