Professional development opportunities with a defined personalised annual budget Access to flexible working arrangements, which include working from home arrangements You will work in a tight-knit, supportive team to ensure you succeed in your role Job Description YOUR ROLE The Administrative Assistant in the Shared Services team will be a key role supporting the leadership group of the MACS function that provides high-level support across Payroll, Accounts Payable, Taxation, and General Ledger functions to our schools. Shared Services is a team of the Finance, Infrastructure and Digital Directorate. This role involves managing schedules, preparing reports and presentations, and updating and co-ordinating communications to ensure smooth operations. A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual is required, with strong multi-tasking and customer service skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, meeting preparation, and action item follow-up. Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations. Maintain organised electronic and paper files and assist with project co-ordination and team initiatives. Support budget preparation, expense tracking, invoice processing and office supply management. ABOUT YOU Extensive experience providing high-level administrative support in fast-paced environments, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and experience designing professional presentations; familiarity with project management tools is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion. Proven problem-solving skills, event co-ordination experience, and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
