About the role selectability is seeking a dedicated and organised administration officer to join our Aged Care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our aged care services. This role involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional care to our older people. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: receiving and responding to a high volume of phone calls assisting the General Manager Aged Care and supporting our service delivery staff general administrative duties organise FIFO travel arrangement for staff assisting facility staff with general program support About you To be considered for this rewarding role you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work as part of a team. To be successful you must: excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and consumers exceptional time management skills and attention to detail ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment problem solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise sensitive and adaptable to consumers different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances and most importantly a positive attitude You will also need: demonstrated experience in an administrative role qualifications or experience working within disability, aged care, mental health and/or the NDIS is desirable, however not essential a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing) a current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement) NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement) About the offer This is a full-time position based in Townsville.
