Aspirante is working with a national organization to find a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic technology division. This will be a key role in designing, building, and automating next-generation infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management : Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure—primarily using Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms. CI/CD & Automation : Set up continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) and automate workflows to enhance productivity. Infrastructure as Code : Implement IaC practices with tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, or AWS CDK, ensuring consistent, repeatable deployments. Monitoring & Optimization : Deploy robust monitoring solutions to ensure system availability and performance. Proactively identify and resolve issues to reduce downtime. Collaboration & Support : Provide technical guidance to internal teams on DevOps best practices, troubleshooting issues, and streamlining operations. Documentation & Continuous Improvement : Contribute to internal tools, templates, libraries, and frameworks. Evaluate and optimize existing processes, documentation, and technologies. Compliance & Safety : Comply with relevant health and safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Skills and Experience DevOps Expertise : Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a DevOps engineering role. Technical Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Experience with IaC tools (Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) Proficiency with configuration management (Chef, Ansible) Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash (JavaScript a plus) C# or similar compiled language experience Analytical & Problem-Solving : Adept at diagnosing issues, offering sound judgment, and employing a logical, investigative mindset. Communication & Collaboration : Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate, influence, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Adaptability & Initiative : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Willingness to learn and stay current on emerging technologies.
