About the Role As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of T&M equipment, including Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Analytical Instrumentation (ANI) products. You will work on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, helping customers achieve seamless operations. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Performing diagnostics and repairs in compliance with certification and regulatory standards (e.g., NATA, AS/ISO9002, Electrical Safety, EH&S). Servicing ANI, RVI, and NDT equipment to ensure swift returns to clients. Conducting preventive maintenance on demonstration and loan equipment to ensure long-term reliability. Configuring and optimizing T&M equipment for demonstrations or deployments. Processing warranty cases for T&M and third-party products. Acting as a technical support liaison for internal teams and external clients. Inspecting and testing equipment post-repair to ensure compliance with performance standards. Maintaining detailed and accurate service records for customer instruments. Coordinating projects in a team environment or working independently under minimal supervision. Ensuring work areas and tools adhere to 5S principles. About You Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (fresh graduates welcome). Alternatively, a Diploma in a related field with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable about electronics and computer-linked equipment. Electro-mechanical aptitude; exposure to optical mechanics is advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Team-oriented and collaborative mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external customers. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Experience: Exposure to scientific and industrial markets is advantageous but not essential. 2 to 5 years of experience in an electronics repair workshop preferred. Why Join This Team?
