Description Team Leader Customer Service and Bookings - Djerring Flemington Hub Reference number: 10521 Closing date: 11:00pm, Thursday 6 February 2025 Permanent full-time position Salary commencing at $97,648 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience Monthly RDO available The Opportunity As an integral part of the Djerring Flemington Hub (The Hub), this position will see you providing leadership and guidance to the team relating to customer service and administration. Ensuring smooth daily operations, you will have a focus on customer experience and cultural inclusion to support The Hub in achieving its vision of being a heart for the Community. Responsibilities Leading and supporting The Hub’s operations team to deliver excellent customer service. Designing, developing and implementing systems and workflows for leadership approval to ensure operational outputs deliver quality services to the community. Playing a lead role in championing teamwork, constructive culture and open communication. Overseeing the administration of facility hire processes. Overseeing the front of house, reception and daily operation of The Hub. Responding to queries regarding customer service and booking of events. Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications with some relevant experience, or substantial demonstrated experience in venue management within a community, cultural facility, or similar. Excellent skills in customer service and venue-related administration and procedures. Demonstrated cultural awareness, understanding and cultural sensitivity when engaging with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities particularly those newly arrived or from a refugee background. Strong leadership skills in supervising, developing and motivating a team. Ability to build a positive team culture that encourages respect, trust, cooperation and innovation.
