The Role In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Learning Diversity Leader to identify and support students with learning difficulties in integrating into the classroom. Liaising with parents on their child's specific learning needs, and be accountable for reviewing, assessing and interpreting results. The position will also be responsible for teaching Literacy, providing essential support to students to reach their personal best. This role is part-time (0.4) fixed term immediate start to 4 April 2025. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs that provide students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate Assist in the development and implementation of new educational strategies to improve teaching and learning outcomes Work with teachers to identify students' academic needs and develop appropriate intervention plans Monitor and assess the progress of students receiving educational support Stay informed about the latest educational trends and best practices to recommend improvements About You You have a Masters of Intervention (highly desirable) and experience teaching within a Senior school. You have designed, developed, and delivered, where required, the adjusted curriculum to meet the learning needs of students. Your working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards have assisted you greatly in delivering great outcomes.
