Realise your potential at yourtown . your opportunity Kids Helpline School is a free early intervention program available to primary and secondary schools in Australia. The program uses tertiary qualified Facilitators and video conferencing technology to engage students in evidence-informed sessions that promote student emotional literacy, resilience building, digital safety and citizenship, coping strategies, and help-seeking behaviours. Based at Milton and working with Kids Helpline School team, this role has responsibility for: • Respond to queries from schools and organisations wishing to engage in the program • Act as a key point of contact by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring and responding to requests for general information • Liaise with schools to manage bookings and logistics for workshops • Develop information packages for all stakeholders including schools • Provide effective calendar management for the Kids Helpline School team This position is part time 3 to 4 days per week (flexible days and hours). what we are looking for You will be flexible to take on any task as required and will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively with the Kids Helpline School team. You will enjoy building relationships with key stakeholders and school staff and will have strong attention to detail. You will bring: • passion, commitment and belief in young people • certificate level qualification and a minimum of 1 year’s administrative experience; or a minimum of 3 years administrative experience • good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities • well-developed written and verbal communication skills • demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and quality of work • strong ICT skills including experience managing online databases and MS Office and the capacity to learn new systems quickly your benefits When you join yourtown you will be welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and diverse community and an established and reputable national organisation.
