The Wholesale Sales Officer works in the Wholesale team, reporting to the Wholesale Manager. The Wholesale Sales Officer manages the sale of products to authorised domestic distributors and the way products are resold within the distribution market. They prepare information on distribution for internal and external stakeholders, forecast product requirements and supply relevant market intelligence to the wider organisation. The Wholesale Sales Officer undertakes administrative duties and sales support for the wholesale team and other areas within the branch. They manage financials for distributor accounts and analyse data to report on sales. The Wholesale Sales Officer works collaboratively with planning, product development, dispatch and production teams to fulfil the requirements of the Mint's wholesale clients. They undertake project activities to support wholesale objectives. The key duties of the position include 1. Processing, scheduling and monitoring sales orders to domestic distributors, including resale orders within the distribution market. 2. Supporting the generation of new wholesale account leads and identifying market growth and distribution opportunities. 3. Negotiating sales contracts, managing terms and conditions of trade, sales agreements and applications for new distributors. 4. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage stakeholder satisfaction by understanding feedback and implementing solutions to resolve issues. Including internal planning, product development, dispatch and production teams. 5. Monitoring existing distributor account activity and providing recommendations on sensitive matters to managers. 6. Researching and interpreting data, forecasting product requirements and monitoring marketing intelligence to provide recommendations and advice on matters such as costing and delivery. 7. Managing distributors accounts including generating invoices, returns, credit notes, customer statements and other associated financials. 8. Planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on wholesale project activities.
