About the Role APS has partnered with a national leader in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for an experienced and vibrant Customer Service & Dispatch Consultant to join the team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, coordinating the pick-up and delivery of high-priority freight across Australia, primarily via air and road. You will work a rotating roster across a 7-day week, with shifts spanning days, afternoons, and nights. The roster operates on an 8-week rotation, offering variety and flexibility while ensuring coverage during peak times. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service & Dispatch Consultant, you will: Book, allocate, monitor, and coordinate drivers for freight deliveries Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers Track and resolve overdue lodgements, dispatches, and deliveries Provide customers with accurate ETAs on their shipments Receive notifications from drivers and update relevant systems in real-time Perform general administrative tasks, data entry, and customer service duties as needed To be Successful in This Role You will bring the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a customer service or dispatch role Proven ability to work a rotating roster with flexible shift hours (these shifts are non-negotiable) Excellent telephone manner and strong verbal communication skills Sound problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment Be flexible to work both onsite as this will be a requirement until all training is completed. May be flexibility for Hybrid after this time. Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility and the ability to work autonomously Rotating Shift Schedule This role requires flexibility, and you'll work a rotating roster across a 7-day week.
