With an exceptional project pipeline and a desire to streamline their processes even further, they seek a Design & Drafting Manager to come onboard, leading a team and ultimately ensuing the design meets client expectations. PLEASE NOTE: Experienced Principal Architects as well as Senior Project Architects (or similar), with proven Luxury home designing experience and desire to lead & mentor teams, are ideal applicants for this role and strongly encouraged to apply. What you'll be doing: Design Management: - Oversee & coordinate drafting & design process (concept to final drawings). - Ensure designs align with standards, vision & client requirements. - Collaborate with design architects, engineers & interior designers. Team Leadership: - Lead & mentor a drafting team (accuracy, consistency, efficiency & creativity). - Provide direction feedback on architectural drawings. - Manage workloads, delegate tasks & ensure timely completion of designs. Project Coordination: - Serve as the main liaison between the design & other key work-teams. - Coordinate revisions based on key feedback (Client, Construction & Architects) - Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting timelines & budgets. Quality Control & Compliance: - Review & approve architectural drawings for compliance (codes, zoning regs etc). - Ensure design meets standards, material selection & high-end detailing. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials & construction advances Client Interaction: - Attend design meetings and address any design-related inquiries. - Tailor design solutions to meet client preferences & maintain the firm's reputation. What You’ll Need: - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or similar - Registered architect or drafter is preferred - 7 years’ luxury architectural drafting experience - 3 years within a leadership or management role - Experience designing residential homes ($3M) with suitable portfolio. - Strong understanding of resi building codes, construction & zoning laws. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and or other drafting/design software. - Excellent leadership, communication & organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail with keen sense of aesthetics & design principles. - Ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines in a fast-paced setting. - Knowledge of high-end materials, finishes & trends in luxury home design. - Ability to translate client visions into stunning architectural designs. - Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills - Client-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering results Sound good?
