Job Description HR Customer Service Officer - NSW Government Immediate start - 13 week rolling contracts 24/7 rotating roster (Shifts work as a 4 days on and 3-4 days off roster, with rosters released 8 weeks in advance) Sydney Olympic Park location $36ph super 38 hours per week This is a great opportunity to work within this Government department located in the Health sector. We are looking for standout a candidate who is customer-focused, organised and highly driven in to join the team on a rolling 13 week contract. This is a contract role, and require candidates who can hit the ground running, are calm with a fast-paced training period and able to adapt quickly in a new environment. Experience in the health sector, rostering or a call centre environment would be highly advantageous. About the Role: In this role you will manage inbound and outbound calls to paramedics who call the absence line for various types of unplanned absence Updating the internal rostering system and other required record keeping processes Communicating with staff at all levels of the organisation both in person and over the phone Ensuring to coordinate with the TL will all absences and it's impact on the operational staffing numbers Following the required procedures to secure backfills as directed by the Manager or Team Leader Roster requirements: As this is a 24/7 role, you will be working 9.5 hours per shift a half hour unpaid break. Rosters are finalised 8 weeks in advance and you will rotate on a 4 days on and 3-4 days off roster over 7 days. It is not possible to select preferred shifts but you would be able to try and swap a particular shift if needed, noting that the expectation is to have the full availability. The times for the shifts will be rotated between the below, Monday to Sunday: 6:00am - 4:00pm 10:00am - 8:00pm 12:30pm - 10:30pm 8:30pm - 6:30am (This shift will not be as often as the others as there is only one Customer Service Officer and one Team Leader allocated for this time) Skills/Experience: Experience in the heath sector, rostering or call centre would be highly beneficial It is essential to have an exceptional phone manner and strong communication skills Tech savvy, experience using Excel, Teams, Microsoft Office, Calendars etc. Ability to pick up new systems with ease Excellent accuracy and attention to details and strong data entry skills The ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures A strong work ethic and ability to take initiative in quieter periods Must be reliable, punctual and available for the required rostered hours For further information or interest in this opportunity, please apply now or send a copy of your updated resume to Brooke Dover at brookedcharterhouse.com.au APPLICATIONS CLOSING SOON Please note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
