This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and driven Interior Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join a leading design firm's Melbourne studio. You will be involved in projects from initial concept design through to documentation and on-site completion. This role offers levels of autonomy and the chance to work on a diverse range of primarily multi-residential projects, contributing significantly to the built environment. You'll be a vital part of a close-knit, supportive team and will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across a national network. As an Interior Designer, you will: Develop and deliver innovative and practical interior design solutions that meet client briefs and project requirements Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit and SketchUp Liaise with clients, builders, suppliers, and other stakeholders, confidently presenting design concepts and managing project communication Contribute to the selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and design intent are maintained Participate in site visits and inspections, overseeing the implementation of designs and addressing any on-site challenges Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture 3-5 years of professional experience Previous exposure to multi-residential projects is highly sought Highly proficient in Revit and SketchUp Strong design sensibility and a keen eye for detail Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards Proven ability to work with builders and suppliers Working for this company will offer you the ability to work within a dynamic and supportive studio culture.
