We are looking for a warehouse assistant to join our Bentleigh team and assist in our move to our new location. Warehouse Assistants are a crucial role in our business, ensuring that all archiving, picking and storage is performed in a timely and accurate manner within our warehouse. In this role, you will: • Handle the picking and storing of archive boxes and other archiving items • Use a stock-picker/forklift to pick/put away archive boxes and files • Scan items using a smartphone-like device (PDA) • Work mainly by yourself Who You Are • Organisation: You keep things neat, tidy, and accurate. • Prioritisation: You ensure tasks are completed based on importance. • Tech Savvy: You quickly learn new systems and software. • Customer Service: You approach problem-solving with the customer in mind. • Attention to Detail: Your meticulous nature minimises mistakes. • Communication: You effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
