One of Australia’s fastest-growing organizations is seeking an ERP System Administrator (NetSuite) to play a key role in the implementation and ongoing management of NetSuite’s Inventory Module, alongside broader ERP enhancements. This role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition from the existing inventory system while supporting operational efficiency across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of NetSuite. Over time, this role has the potential to expand into broader operational systems, offering opportunities for career growth into an Operational Systems or Special Projects Manager position. This position is based on-site at the organization’s Maroochydore headquarters. Key ResponsibilitiesNetSuite Implementation & Administration Lead the implementation of NetSuite’s Inventory Module, ensuring alignment with business processes. Design and document functional workflows to support inventory operations. Ensure data consistency between the legacy system and NetSuite during the transition period. Oversee testing, training, and roll-out across departments. Maintain NetSuite system integrity, including user roles, permissions, scripts, workflows, and customizations. Data & System Management Maintain data synchronization between NetSuite and other operational systems. Utilize SQL and reporting tools to extract and analyze data, supporting business intelligence efforts post-implementation. Provide ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for NetSuite users. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Work closely with Finance, Merchandising, Supply, and IT teams to enhance system functionality. Assist in integrating NetSuite with other business systems (custom systems, data lakes, time and attendance software, CRM platforms, POS systems, etc.). Act as a liaison between business users and external NetSuite consultants when necessary. Future Development & Growth Post-implementation, take ownership of NetSuite administration, continuously improving workflows and system efficiencies. Gain exposure to other operational systems, potentially expanding the scope of the role. Key Qualifications & Experience Essential Demonstrable understanding of how inventory systems work, with experience in implementation or administration. Desired 2 years of NetSuite administration/functional design experience, preferably in environments focused on retail, inventory, or logistics. Hands-on experience with the implementation of NetSuite’s Inventory Module and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS) module. Exposure to or a reasonable understanding of databases (SQL, etc.). Experience in ERP system implementations and data migrations. Familiarity with inventory management processes, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Experience with system integrations (CRM platforms, POS systems, data lakes, etc.) is a plus.
