The Position To deliver catering service to a diverse range of clients/ visitors of the Albury Entertainment Centre and off-site venues, to maintain and continuously improve the efficiency and profitability of the catering operations whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. Tasks & responsibilities To ensure the preparation, presentation and service of food is carried out promptly to a high standard in line with the venue expectations. The ability to work unsupervised to ensure the preparation and service is delivered in a professional manor To maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with statutory requirements. To maintain and continuously improve food presentation, service and standards. To keep all wastage to a minimum and to observe sound environmental practices. Qualifications & experience Trade qualifications - minimum Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) Experience in a high pressure catering environment, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment Experience in a supervisory or management role Relevant experience in the entertainment and hospitality industry Relevant experience in events and large scale functions Hours Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be rostered by the supervisor Benefits Live and work in a culture rich location minutes from the Murray River, just a short drive to one of Victoria’s best wine regions and with the ski fields so close you will be zooming down the mountains in under two hours.
