Job Title: Administration Officer Location: Box Hill, Sydney Work Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexible start times available) About the Role: Harrison Barratt Group is currently recruiting for our expanding civil client located in Box Hill. With over 35 years of experience in the Construction industry, our client is a well-established, family-owned business looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to support their growing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team within a thriving industry. Key Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Create rental contracts for new hire bookings. Prepare and issue supplier and transport purchase orders. Perform data entry for stand-downs, off-hires, site moves, and exchanges. Process supplier invoices, bills, and credits with accuracy. Maintain and update machine and plant records. Manage the rental system and ensure data accuracy. Monitor GPS tracking reports. Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate records. Utilize computer programs to gather and provide necessary information. Assist with weekly invoicing and payroll processing. Manage fuel and toll reports. Handle paperwork for outgoing and incoming machinery. Support the team with aged receivables by following up on overdue invoices. Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager & Group Operations Manager. Assist in sending reports to the Group Financial Controller. Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience in a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities efficiently. Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of earthmoving machinery and equipment is a plus but not required. High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy. Competency in accounting and numerical accuracy.
