They provide high-quality, custom-engineered solutions for industrial, municipal, and agricultural applications. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their team at their Glendenning office. About the Role As a Structural Engineer , you will play a key role in the design and structural integrity of tanks and related infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Australian and international engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze steel tank structures to ensure compliance with relevant standards (AS/NZS, API, AWWA, and other applicable codes). Perform structural calculations and simulations to validate designs. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with the drafting team to develop accurate and efficient designs. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during manufacturing and installation. Assist in research and development of new materials and construction techniques. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within steel structures or tank design. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SpaceGass, STAAD.Pro, or similar). Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools. Strong understanding of Australian Standards and engineering codes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
