This is a new opportunity for women who are seeking to get their foot in the door of the quarry and supply chain industry. Heidelberg Materials Australia is offering a high-quality, 12 – 18-month Quarry Operator Traineeship, and if successful, then a full time position out of our Lysterfield Quarry in Melbourne’s east. What does this opportunity include? Immediate full-time employment as a Trainee Quarry Operator Fully trained and qualified in appropriate units from the Surface Operations Management in the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package Train to obtain a HR licence Obtain tickets in a range of earth moving machines All uniforms and safety equipment provided Great work colleagues and a supportive work environment What you will need to succeed: Be reliable and act with integrity Can thrive in and enjoy a high-paced working environment Motivated and willing to learn Ability to build relationships and communicate with others Available to work 38 hours p/week plus reasonable overtime including Saturdays Be available to attend a recruitment morning onsite What we offer: You will be rewarded with a competitive and attractive hourly and penalty rates Be a part of a highly recognised global brand name and growing organisation Ongoing career and development opportunities Next Steps: Once you have applied, shortlisted candidates will be invited to conduct a short video interview (or phone) so that we get to know a little bit more about you.
