Position : Warehouse Storeperson Location : Virginia, Queensland Salary : Up to $34 per hour (based on experience) About the Role : As a Warehouse Storeperson, you'll play a key role in managing and organising stock, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of timber products. You’ll be responsible for handling a variety of products, some of which may require special care due to their size or awkward shape. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to handle heavy and bulky loads with precision. Key Responsibilities : Safely operate a forklift to move products and other materials around the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, ensuring correct placement and safe handling of all goods. Organise and maintain inventory to ensure that stock is easily accessible and well-presented. Assist with stocktaking and maintaining accurate records of inventory. Handle awkward or oversized loads safely and efficiently. Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times. Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and in good working condition. Requirements : Forklift Licence (LF) is essential. Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role, ideally within a timber or construction environment. Strong ability to work with heavy, awkward, or oversized loads. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
