About the Role: Public Sector People are currently recruiting for an Administration Officer (AO3) position within a State Government Department. This is a temporary position with full time hours. Key Responsibilities: General Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, develop and maintain administrative procedures and systems to ensure the effective functioning of the Housing Service Centre. Information Systems Management: Implement and administer departmental information systems related to finance, human resource management, correspondence, records management, and plant and equipment. Human Resources Assistance: Undertake administrative functions associated with personnel matters, providing accurate human resource information as required. Software Utilization: Utilize a range of software packages and databases to maintain and improve administration processes, ensuring high-quality support. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain effective relationships with team members, internal and external customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative support services, delivering timely and quality service. Workplace Safety: Support and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring adherence to Workplace Health and Safety policies and practices in day-to-day operations. What We Are Looking For: Previous government experience is required.
