About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: This role is responsible for supporting Pathology Department operations team with a range of different administrative tasks. The role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with the values, quality objectives, performance goals, delegations, policies, procedures, and operations of NPV and in line with the Northern Health “Code of Conduct”. The major duties and/or responsibilities outline the scope of the position. The incumbent may be required to perform other job-related duties as delegated by the Operations Manager. The role will also involve completing duties at all Northern Pathology Victoria associated sites. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and good working knowledge of administrative tasks in a Pathology dept Experience with Laboratory Information Systems E.g. Ultra. Proven ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated excellent customer service skills Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Next Steps . . .
