Morse Micro is seeking a dynamic and talented Verification Test Engineer to join our groundbreaking team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and have a passion for pushing the boundaries of wireless technology, this is the perfect opportunity for you Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing apparatus and procedures to test RF modules and application product installation and commissioning of test jigs, computer, and other measurement equipment - Establishing and monitoring performance and safety standards as well as procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems. - Designing and developing signal and data processing algorithms and implementing these through appropriate choice of hardware and software. - Troubleshoot RF and communication problems and propose design changes on hardware and software to enhance Wi-Fi chip performance and compatibility. - Developing Python tests to verify system requirements, system designs and technical specifications - Designing device verification tests to check the performance of microchips at different life cycles. - Install, debug, bring-up equipment to perform at optimal level while being compatible with the system and writing proper documentation of usage and safety. - Design and assemble RF communication setups to transmit and receive packets in wired and over the air environment. - Day-to-day management of the Morse Micro electronics including keeping the laboratory in efficient working order - Analysing large dataset to determine yield determining process capabilities - Reporting and documentation responsibilities Essential skills and experience: - Expert micro-soldering skills - Bachelors’ Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or similar degree - Master of electronic test and measurement equipment including, but not limited to oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, function generators, and meters - Ability to gather and interpret specifications for construction/modification of electronics - Expert communicator and active listener - Highly organised individual with a passion for keeping an outstanding laboratory environment - Can do attitude and resolve to complete high quality work in time constrained situations If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
