This is the chance to join right as the takes off. More About the Role at Morse Micro Morse Micro is shaping the future of Wi-Fi technology for the multi-billion dollar Internet of Things markets. At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today. Responsibilities - Establish and maintain the manufacturing test process for Morse Micro Wi-Fi products. - Drive technical issue resolution during NPI to enable timely readiness of RF testing facilities and related equipment. - Drive yield analysis and root-cause analysis during production operations, and coordinate change projects to improve yield - Work with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers) to plan, design, build and commission RF test facilities. - Work together with RF test engineers and technicians to conduct testing of engineering and production devices - Conduct risk assessments and process improvement initiatives - Work closely with factory teams to enable RF testing in development & mass production. - Attend and drive technical meetings with engineers to track and follow-up blocking issues. Qualifications / Experience / Skills - Background education or training in wireless communications systems, signal processing, RF propagation, radio / WLAN / telecommunication or relevant fields - Experience working in a dynamic engineering/development environment - Experience in conducting yield analysis and reporting in a production environment, liaising with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers) - Must be able to participate in technical discussions related to RF testing with the cross-functional teams. - Applied knowledge of RF components, testing and integrated circuits - Exposure to test systems and test equipment used in wireless technology verification, such as Keysight / Agilent equipment - Knowledge of Wi-Fi technology is required. - General knowledge of telecommunication standards is a plus. - Strong problem solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques is required. - Ability to solder and assembly experience is a plus If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
